Lifting bag

The Vega boasts a new modern design combining innovative functional features and and attractive appearance.
The inflation connector is located on the edge of the bag on the front side to allow an easy and ergonomically-friendly connection of the inflation hose. The position of the connector and the integrated handle protect the connector from possible mechanical damage.
A robust and purpose-designed rubber cap protects the inflation connector and provides a good grip when working with firefighter gloves.
The pressure class is clearly and uniquely indicated on the main label on the high-pressure lifting bag.
The bag top and bottom have an interlocking system for a stable cascade-like combining of lifting bags.
The surface of high-pressure lifting bags enables smooth insertion and high friction forces during lifting.
The handle comes with holes for attaching support ropes, which is practical when using lifting bags for spreading.
The Nova high-pressure lifting bag has an integrated rubber handle for easy handling. The handle comes with holes for attaching support ropes, which proves practical when lifting bags are used for spreading.
The lateral edge of the lifting bag is specially designed to allow insertion into narrow slots.
Reflective markings on all four edges and in the center of the bag allow accurate setting even in low visibility. Lifting bags have position markings:
- A central cross for positioning the lifting point.
- Lateral reflective markings for positioning the insertion depth.
A lifting height marking on the front of the lifting bag allows easy comparative assessment of the lifting height.
The maximum load capacity and the lifting height are indicated on the front of the integrated handle for bag identification when these are stored or set parallel to each other.
The serial number of high-pressure lifting bags is written numerically and as a QR code. The QR code contains a serial number that can be read by a QR code reader. The numerical part and the QR serial number show the date of manufacture of the lifting bag.
All physical dimensions on the labels are given in both the international system of units and imperial units.
The text on the labels is in English and German.
The QR code on the main label on the lifting bag offers easy access to the full version of the instruction manual online. A printed copy of short instructions is added to each bag.
Inflation hoses

Inflation hoses made of robust rubber are more flexible and can be used in a wider temperature range.
The pressure class of the hose is clearly marked and engraved in the coupling and plug of the inflation hose.
The hoses are durably marked with a numerical serial number, a QR code and a non-coded record of the date of manufacture.
Controller

The controller housing is robust and compact.
The housing of the inlet and outlet pressure gauges protects them from possible mechanical damage.
The striking green color of the case ensures better visibility at the rescue site.
The controller faceplate is at an angle of 15°, which allows a better view of the pressure gauges when in use.
The outer dimension of the housing is limited to allow storage in EUROBOX boxes.
The appearance and position of the inlet coupling differ from that of the outlet couplings.
The coupling layout allows easy connection/disconnection, even when using firefighter gloves.
The housing provides stability if the controller is set vertically for connecting/disconnecting inflation hoses.
The pressure class of the controller is clearly and uniquely marked.
The inlet pressure gauge controls the inlet pressure and indirectly also the compressed air quantity in the pressure vessel.
The inlet and outlet pressure gauges have luminous dials that glow in the dark and are thus easy to read even in low visibility. Dial scales show international and imperial units of measurement.
The ergonomically-designed manipulating levers allow easy operation with firefighter gloves. Their shape indicates the direction of manipulation. The lever shape and size offer protection from possible mechanical damage.
We recommend using a neck strap when working in a standing posture. The robust and detachable neck strap has a softly padded part for comfort.
In low visibility, a light can be fixed on the controller. The fixing points are marked on the handle of the controller.
Controller case

The case fits tightly to the controller housing to prevent it from moving. The controller is additionally fixed in the case interior with Velcro fasteners
The case design allows the use of the controller directly from the case. With the case top open, the operator can have a glance at short instructions on the inside pocket surface.
We recommend using a dedicated hard-shell case that offers optimal protection to the controller.
By (not) using an insert, the case can protect both the two- and three-channel controllers (2EXP or 3EXP).
The inside pocket is convenient for storing relevant documents.
User labels can be put into a transparent pocket on the outside of the case.
A carrying handle on the short side of the case comes in handy.
