Our Business Principles
It is the duty of each manager to ensure that employees understand the Code of Conduct.
Trelleborg requires suppliers, sales agents, distributors and consultants to adopt the principles in this Code of Conduct. Trelleborg also encourages support of the principles in the UN Global Compact, which we signed in 2007.
The Trelleborg Code of Conduct has been approved to this format in April 2023

Our Whistleblower system
The Group’s Whistleblower system shall be used when there is reason to suspect that laws, human rights or the Code of Conduct are being violated. Possible such violations include corruption, fraud or harassment.
Every employee in the Group should, without fear of reprisal from anyone, use the Whistleblower system to inform our Senior Vice President General Counsel and Senior Vice President Human Resources of any such improper activity.
Suppliers, customers and other external stakeholders involved with the Trelleborg Group, may report suspected violations of the law, human rights or the Code of Conduct, directly to local operation managers or by using the Trelleborg Whistleblower system.

Trelleborg believes that conducting business with transparency and responsibility is critical to maintain trust and credibility with our key stakeholders: customers, suppliers, employees and investors/shareholders.
In the Statement about modern slavery, forced labor, human trafficking and child labor 2024, signed by CEO Peter Nilsson, we describe how Trelleborg manages the issues of modern slavery, forced labor, human trafficking and child labor, throughout its operations and supply chain, in line with the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 (covering Trelleborg Sealing Solutions UK Ltd, and Trelleborg Industrial Products UK Ltd.), Australian Modern Slavery Act 2018 (covering Trelleborg Holdings Australia Pty Ltd, which has the following operating companies in Australia: Trelleborg Marine Systems Australia Pty Ltd and Trelleborg Perth Pty Ltd, the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act (the prevailing US standard) and activities prohibited by the US Federal Acquisition Regulation 52.222- 50(b). This statement is for the year ending 31 December 2023 and was approved by the Board of Directors on 30th May 2024.
Year-to-year performance in this area will continue to be described in our Annual Report following the end of our financial year on 31 December.
