Overview
Trelleborg compression seals can be manufactured with various compounds and the hardness and stiffness can be accommodated for in cases where it is required. If needed, the compression seals can be further optimized to meet lifetime expectancy/chemical resistance and high wear and tear resistance.
Our compression seals are designed to accommodate for the hydrostatic pressure and the cumulative building and placing tolerances of static or movable Water Management constructions. If required, the compression seals can be further customized by delivering a wear resistant or UHMW-PE player to decrease the friction coefficient and thereby increase the sliding effect and lifetime expectancy of the seal.
The compression seals can be further optimized by the hardness of the compound, manufacturing holes into the gaskets and applying the fit for purpose compounding to withstand environmental aspects as temperature, dynamic properties, chemicals, ozone, and UV exposure to maintain high rubber quality and expand the lifetime expectancy of the gasket.
