Overview

SafePilot P3 excels beyond standard pilot plugs in terms of performance. The SafePilot P3 unit enables the user to monitor the vessel’s movements in constricted waterways accurately. An advanced motion sensor and a high-accuracy global navigation satellite system (GNSS) measure the ship’s movement in three dimensions. It also computes the vessel’s position and heading based on the two GNSS antennas and will function even during a power outage.

 

When used in conjunction with the SafeCaptain App, it can be used globally on all waterways and ports. The SafeCaptain App doubles as a portable display for the pilot/captain that shows official sea charts with dedicated overlays for precise vessel navigation.
