It acts as a bonded seal between the wall and floor, and is applied using specified epoxy adhesive systems, leaving the middle portion free to stretch and move relative to the bonded areas.

The Hydrobar CSM un-cured bandage is commonly used to provide a waterproof barrier over the construction gap between the internal wall surface and the floor, and can perform as a membrane seal for potable water
