A self-activating seal is a lip seal which is activated
by the environmental hydrostatic pressure.
Trelleborg has a wide range of various profiles depending
on the gap, movement and construction tolerances.
Compression seals are commonly preferred, however in some
applications self-activating seals are the best choice. Our team of engineers
