In our path to becoming more sustainable, we have implemented over 20 energy efficiency initiatives across our business that have significantly reduced our carbon footprint.
During the last couple of years, our manufacturing sites, warehouses, and offices have been working collectively on reducing their energy usage and, consequently, their carbon emissions. Four of our six manufacturing sites are now using renewable energy for their operations, with two more sites all set to adopt renewable energy by early next year. We are also accelerating our efforts to develop ‘Cleantech’ that will help reduce emissions fast, enabling us in our goal of becoming a more sustainable business.
Waste & Chemicals
In the last couple of years, we have partnered with recycling companies to redesign our product and manufacturing processes. In addition, we are also part of Polymers for Tomorrow; a task force set up by Trelleborg that works to establish partnerships with stakeholders in three categories: bio-based materials, regenerated/recycled materials, and new polymer formulas.
