Our commitment to community extends beyond business. We believe young people hold the key to a brighter future—not just for our company, but for society. That’s why we invest in initiatives that empower youth through sports, education, and leadership. 

Why sports?

Research tells us that sports reduce juvenile delinquency, boost well-being, and even improve school performance. We partner with organizations that emphasize the value of teamwork, persistence, and growth to provide young people with opportunities to thrive—both on and off the field. 

 

We aim to spark positive change for young people in communities worldwide and inspire companies and individuals to join us in making a difference.

Selected initiatives

Members of Trelleborg SportsClub have one important thing in common that goes beyond the actual sport – they engage in initiatives with children and youths, helping them in their development. The initiatives can be related to sports, but do not have to be, they can also relate to leadership or learning. Please read more about some of these initiatives below.

FC Rosengård

The Malmö-based football club FC Rosengård lives by their vision: Believe in your dream. Their aim is to create an equal and inclusive society, and create change with football as the main tool. Equality, Community and a Winning Culture are the keywords that drive all initiatives in the club forward, and act as a guiding light in everything they do. The club is also known for their social work, with initiatives such as Boost, Football for Life and Hattrick.

Motivation Boost (Motivationslyftet) by Star for Life is a unique project for sports clubs where where the young athletes in addition to their regulary physical training also work on strengthening their motivation. The aim is to equip the youths with a toolbox that can help them both in sports and in everyday life.

Malmö Redhawks

Activity, health, and joy. This is the essence of Malmö Redhawks' initiative Healthy Youth. By cooperating with the School sport federation in the region the club visits several school sport clubs throughout the season to have physical activities with the kids where the aim is to increase youths' physical acitivty and to make it more accessible for all.
