Seal design & function
The Kor-N-Tee® and Kor-N-Tee Saddle® Pipe-to-Pipe Connectors are an economical, watertight seal for concrete or smooth wall pipes that can be installed quickly and easily without complete excavation of the pipe or disruption of the bedding.
Both connectors provide a flexible lateral connection that accommodates ground movement and helps prevent shear. They eliminate the need for glue, epoxy or grout when making a lateral connection.
The "positive stop" located inside the Kor-N-Tee® and Kor-N-Tee Saddle® prohibits protrusion of the lateral pipe into the main line. Materials of construction on both connectors meet or exceed ASTM C923.
